Berlin is in a state of emergency from 7th to 17th February – it's Berlinale again. Here are HELMUT's hottest tips and all the information you need to buy a ticket:

  1. Tickets are always available 3 days in advance (e.g. on Monday for Thursday, starting at 10:00 am). The first day of pre-sale is the 4th of February.

  2. Here are the places, where you can buy tickets: At Potsdamer Platz Arcaden, Kino International, Haus der Berliner Festspiele, Audi City Berlin or at the box offices of the cinemas (here we recommend as a good chance the Friedrichstadtpalast ) or online at the Berlinale page in the program search. https://www.berlinale.de/de/programm/berlinale_programm/programmsuche.html

By the way, ticket prices are between 5 € and 16 € and only two tickets per person and movie can be bought.

But that's not the only fantastic thing – there are plenty of ways to get a taste of the festival even without a Berlinale Ticket. For example at the Berlinale Forum or the parties in the Berlin Clubs, but above all the Audi Berlinale Lounge directly at the Berlinale Palast, are the place to go.
