Bakefest is bringing together artists who have all worked together in some capacity, but never played on the same bill, in the effort to create a unique experience of Berlin Meets NYC underground music.
We believe in keeping the underground alive and strong. The only way to do that is to showcase the music in real nontraditional spaces such as Baketown. Baketown is an artist run space dedicated to pushing experimental and creative music. We will be recording all the sets in audio and visual for archival purposes. This will also serve as a moment to premiere unreleased music from all the artists involved.
Baketown is teaming up with Z|ART Agency to host a full day of live performances and DJ sets. This lineup of national and international artists is an especially curated group of like-minded artists who will interact seamlessly together from set to set.
The doors will open at 15:00 on Thursday the 9th of May together with music, cold drinks and delicious pizza.
Lineup: Cafe Dewanee, Griff Spex, Selassie, Salomon Faye, duendita, Jaxx TMS, Slimgirl Fat
