Ecocide or Suicide?, No Project/SOS Orinoco (2021) followed by a conversation with Ana Alenso und Solvej Ovesen, curator at Galerie Wedding Conversation in English, film screening in Spanish with English subtitles. The film screening and discussion expand on the background and context of Ana Alenso’s artistic works, currently on view at Galerie Wedding. The resurgence of gold fever in the Venezuelan Amazon is the starting point for Alenso’s project and the work of the environmental organisation SOS Orinoco, which collaborated during research for the art project.
