Phuong Dan is starting a new residency in arkaoda. Listening sessions, every time with some special guests. Since over ten years he runs the club-night Gatto Musculoso, with guests like italian pioneer Beppe Loda, Veronica Vasicka of the Minimal Wave label, Daniel Wang, Vladimir Ivkovic, Tolouse Low Trax, Anika, Lovefingers, Alexis Le-Tan, Vidal Benjamin, Sean Canty or Ron Morelli. This list is far from complete but does describe the personal taste of Phuong-Dan and so the musical range of his DJ sets. He is spinning an unique eclectic mix from contemporary underground techno, minimal synth, post-punk, new pop and ebm, the electronic side of krautrock, and rare disco, to flashy left field experimental stuff Laurel Halo Born 1985 in Detroit, is an electronic music composer, performing artist and DJ, based in Berlin. Since the release of her debut album Quarantine (2012) on the pioneering London label Hyperdub, she has established herself as a distinct innovative voice within electronic music. Drawing from a range of music lineages, her considered approach has enabled her to maintain a signature aesthetic across a stylistically diverse output, traversing pop, ambient, leftfield club, experimental electronica and film score. She has released on labels including Hyperdub, Honest Jon’s, Latency and Livity Sound, and has collaborated with John Cale, Metahaven, Hodge, Eli Keszler, Julia Holter and Hatsune Miku, among others. RVDS Since 2005 he has been a resident DJ at the Golden Pudel Club in Hamburg. 2009 he started the Sky Walking project with Lawrence and Christian Naujoks (both Dial artists), which released the first album in 2014. Since 2010 he runs the label It’s on his own, where he released his debut album Moments and many more EPs and maxis, most with the subject moon in it. Furthermore, RVDS released on the labels Laid, Smallville, Uncanny Valley and Pudel Produkte as well. ******* This event takes place under the current hygiene regulations.
