Am 28. Februar wird es wieder eine Ausgabe der Småll Sessions Reihe geben, die euch Gelegenheit bietet, brandneue Musik zu entdecken. Location: Der Auster-Club, Berlin-Kreuzberg Mit freundlicher Unterstützung von smoke and echoes. Småll Sessions haben sich dazu verschrieben, Akustiksets mit nationalen und internationalen, musikalischen Newcomern aufzunehmen und damit reduzierte, pure Versionen ihrer Songs zu präsentieren. Mit „Småll Sessions Live“ bringen wir unser Konzept von YouTube auch auf die Bühne und präsentieren euch die Acts von morgen jetzt schon in Berlin – und das live! Wir haben bereits mit herausragenden Bands wie Years&Years, Rhodes, Anne-Marie oder Honne Live Sessions aufgenommen, die schon mehr als 8 Millionen Mal aufgerufen wurden. Seit 2016 gibt es die Konzertreihe ‚Småll Sessions Live‘ in Kooperation mit Handpicked Artists und als Partner Z|ART Agency aus Berlin. Das Motto lautet: drei Künstler – eine Bühne – ein Abend. We believed it was about time to present to you our favourite acts on stage. In 2020 we are happy to continue with more events. Småll Sessions is a berlin based music channel for acoustic music. We have been producing acoustic sets with bands like Years & Years, Rhodes, Anne-Marie and Honne. We have reached over nine million views, so let’s take it to the next level together. We are teaming up with Handpicked Artists and Z|ART Agency to present our event in the perfect venue. The simple idea: three artists – one stage – one night. Wenn man die Band heute hört, fällt es allerdings schwer, zu glauben, dass ihre erste Vision eine völlig andere war. „Bis wir neunzehn waren, haben wir musikalisch komplett in den 60ern und 70ern gelebt, wir haben uns dem ganzen aktuellen Charts Kram verweigert“, so Jakob, und dieser Einfluss ist noch immer präsent in den 3stimmigen Westcoast Harmonies, die den Sound der Band bis heute prägen. „Demons play“, der erste Song, den die Band online stellte, ist eine Synth geladene, urban inspirierte Hymne, die ohne jede PR bereits von Radiosendern gepickt wurde.
